“I had a injection in my back for a sciatica. On the third day I woke to inclediable pain. Called to ask for pills just for the weekend. I planned to do extremely low activity for the 5 days after this procedure. I'm amazed just learning that they did not offer a prescription, only because I expected that once it was done, over the counter medications, would be enough. I was very ignorant going into this procedure. The bright side oh my story is that the staff made me very comfortable at the time. Please forgive me if this is punctuated or written poorly I just wanted to get this info out there if you're going to have a procedure regarding a shot into your sciatica please ask your doctor for a pain prescription after the fact because you will need it an over the counter medication might make a difference but a prescription painkiller would definitely help. “I saw two dermatologists before seeing Dr. Young. I had been going through rounds of thrush with my second child and none of the other two at IU would treat my son & I at the same time - they kept sending me back to my pediatrician and then back to a dermatologist. So we kept passing the thrush back and forth. When I finally found her (per a recommendation from a friend), she had such compassion and knowledge that she treated us both immediately. Years after, she has treated me for psoriasis, acne, and now further issues related to my autoimmune disease. She talks fast but listens closely. She is incredibly knowledgeable and quick to understand, assessing, giving advice, and developing treatment strategies with you. I always have full confidence in her. She explains everything clearly - giving you her honest assessment based on experience and the latest information. I cannot recommend her enough. I hope they keep her happy at Dawes Fetzin. I drive from Greenwood to their new Shadeland office just to see her.”

“I have tried many dermatologists and Dr Spolyar is the best i ever had. She helped me find a solution for my Psoriasis. We tried several options and she never gave up on me. We finally found a biologic that worked and I have been clear for over six months. On my last visit I showed her a spot I had on my skin and she promptly cut it out and had it biopsied. Two weeks later I got a personal call from her and she told me if was stage one melanoma. She made me feel at ease and referred me to a surgeon to help take it out and make sure it did not spread. Her office is the most efficient one I have every seen. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable! I totally recommend them all!”
