“I’m so thankful for the pharmacists here! I was in tonight to pick up amoxicillin for my sons ear ache. The pharmacist(I wish I knew her name) asked me if I knew why the dosage was so high. I told her I wasn’t aware of that so she stopped what she was doing to walk over to the np at the little clinic to see. She came back and said she just told her it was because he had an ear infection. The pharmacists told me do NOT give him the full amount she prescribed until after talking to your pediatrician. She said the amount prescribed could give my son extra side effects. She then went to fill the prescription and came back out to me to let me know my insurance had rejected coverage on the medicine because the dosage was too high! I then called my pediatrician and she also agreed with the pharmacist! I definitely recommend using kroger pharmacy! The pharmacist definitely saved my son from getting sicker than he already was!”
