(January 17, 2019, 4:20 pm)Holliday park is an oasis in the middle of a city. The trails are beautiful and kept very clean, and the old broken buildings are a beautiful landmark; so very glad they kept them in the park. (Even going so far as to renovate one into a fountain. You might be able to see it in some pictures.) Do take a day and visit this park. You'll love it.
(January 17, 2019, 10:56 am)Great park to take the kids for a variety of activities. Open space for throwing a football, great playgrounds for climbing, and paths for walking down to the river. Ample parking and picnic tables for a quick bite before kids return to run themselves to sleep.

Nature trails, small waterfall and pond, picnic areas, grass fields to run or roll in, view of the Indianapolis skyline and a bit of solace among st chaos. A breath of fresh air in the midst of a polluted city. It's a magical portal that I can retreat to in a heartbeat.
(December 21, 2018, 8:09 pm)Very nice playground for all ages. Lots of shade so kids aren't spending too much time in the sun. The nature center and the habitat area are very nice for the kids to play, interact, and learn about the animals that reside in the park. The ruins and the rock garden where very nice too, more for adults though then young children. Overall a great free experience!
(December 21, 2018, 1:01 pm)Wonderful outdoor space with hiking trails, historical sculpture, a playground and nature center. I didn't know that the sculpture in the main area up front was from an actual building torn down in New York City. The hike down to the creek is fun. Also my kids love the playground and the nature center. Great park to relax and enjoy time with family.
