“Staff and bartenders are great plus the smokers patio is enclosed and the drinks are not bad. There's also pool, darts, karaoke and bar food. The regular crowd seems friendly as well. The karaoke has a wide variety but it seems that most of the karaoke that people go for is country music. The dj does a great job of mixing up the music with current pop to balance in between karaoke sets.”

“This is a much improved Hollyhock Hill from last year. Our family almost didn't return this Christmas after the disappointing previous Christmas. The 2018 Christmas Dinner was very good and the service was also very good. We will be making another reservation for the 2019 family Christmas dinner. “I travel for work and eat out more than I'd like to admit, and this restaurant was a great experience from the beginning. First off, seated immediately, asked for coffee and a carafe and cup full were brought quickly. Ordered the homemade corned beef hash and eggs. Coffee was very good, hash was even better, eggs cooked perfectly, toast buttered perfectly, and all delivered by a waiter (Todd) that truly cares about his work. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely be returning. Thanks!”

The atmosphere is quite cozy and comfortable. Prices are good and portions are great. I see where Lincoln Square was compared to Steak and Shake. No Way, No How. Steak and Shake could not hold a candle to this place. Breakfast is by far my favorite. When you go here, be very hungry because I can assure you, you will not leave hungry.”

“The appetizer sampler was ok. We both had ribs and mashed potatoes. I probably won't get the sweet tea glaze again, but it was more a personal preference. It wasn't bad, I think I just prefer a more traditional smoky or sweet barbecue flavor. The mashed potatoes were pretty good. We both agreed it was unfortunate the apple toffee cake is seasonal, it was easily our favorite part of the meal.”
