“My husband and I have been here for about 6 months now and really enjoy the apartment and the community. Our unit was recently renovated- very clean, classic and modern features. I always felt safe walking getting home late at night. All of our neighbors are very friendly and no one makes a lot of noise. It's close to Broad Ripple, but also to Castleton, while still maintaining that neighborhood feel. Maintenance comes quickly and they are always hosting things for the residents! In the summer we frequent the pool (though it can get crowded on the weekends) and the gym.”

“I have lost track of how many years I have been coming here but the restaurant has been around since 1952. Everything is made from scratch here. The fried chicken is great. Next time I will get spicy chicken. They have the best biscuits which are made in fresh batches throughout day and after they remove them from the oven they drizzle honey butter over top. I love their apple pie! I have also tried the corn on the cob, cole slaw, mashed potato and gravy (and macaroni and cheese which is extra yummy). I haven't tried the cornmeal crispy fish or okra yet but I'm sure they wouldn't disappoint. This location has a small dining place but most people order carryout and leave. Staff was fast and kind.”

“No cursing, no drinking(it's not a bar) and kid friendly. Larry has most any song you ask for. He has a great sound system and plenty of monitors in every direction (except behind you). They do have drinks and limited snacks for sale, but Aunt Polly's is right next door, and they have an awesome menu! Really great fun for the family! The atmosphere is very relaxed and nonjudgmental. “I have attended this church for about 7 of the 10 yeas I have been in Indianapolis. The church is small but the people are pretty integrated with each other. It is also multiracial. I have been a Pentecostal since 1969 and won't go just anywhere. If you want community and not just a 10,000 seat church with a slew of sound effects, focus groups, etc. this will be a good fit. They believe that we all are endowed with power, and are pseudo-Messianic. The leaders are not paid, so they are giving because they want to, not just people pleasers looking for a check. The church is from the "prophetic" branch of Pentecostalism and is not willing to compromise to get members, and on the other hand is not legalistic. We have a food pantry and are trying to benefit our community. Both leaders are former Catholics, and the wife was going to become a nun, so they can work well "across the aisle" as they say.”
