  Last year I started having troubles hearing and I couldn't figure out what was really going on and I decided that I needed to see an audiologist. So, I started looking around for a closeby hearing aid clinic. I took my hearing aid in and he looked at it and told me that the boot on my oscillator is so old that it has been discontinued. He called the company about 5 times and they had one boot, but it was a little darker brown which was fine with me :0). He got it very quickly and called to say it was in and I went back for him to put it on. When I put my hearing aid on it was just like it used to be. The cord was leaning over to one side. That is 'cause the boot was so old and not allowing the prongs to fit straight in. It began to get very annoying trying to make the cord stay to the one side. It would cut on and off and I constantly kept retaping it. I highly recommend this place. He told me about the Baha hearing aid. I told him I read about this one.

  After 4 days of "swimmer's ear" that rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, colloidal silver, and ear candles couldn't cut, I searched the internet for a solution. "Help U Hear" sounded like exactly what I needed. Not realizing that it was a hearing aid business, I called and explained my situation. Dave made time for me to come in and have a look at my ears. He was able to clean the wax so that I could hear again! He explained that both his grandfather and father were in the hearing business. It was heart warming to experience this familial specialty and Dave's generosity first hand. Loosing one's hearing can impact social interactions and I only realized how much of a fog I was living in when the hearing came back. "Help U Hear" did just that! Thank you Dave!
