“Lovely clean quiet park. It has a neat feature of storyboard stations you can read with children as you walk a flat even sidewalk. It even offers things to talk about and activities associated with asking questions about the story as you read and walk. Nice bug playset in the middle of that and great shelter houses.”

“Appalachian Cabin is a fantastic cabin. Sleeps 6 in very large bedrooms. The 2 baths (1 with garden tub) are nice and large for a group. The main living area and kitchen is huge with plenty of room to accommodate guests with no problems. Dishwasher full size refrigerator and stove and microwave are all available for use. Extremely clean, with a setting inside a woods just off the road for easy access. Plenty of dishes, glass ware and stem ware are available. There is nothing wrong with having my coffee in the morning and watching the pilated and downy woodpeckers in the trees. We are talking 10 to 20 of the little buggers, not a couple. The pond is at the bottom of the hill and not a bad hike up or down...the entire cabin and setting is peaceful and tranquil for anyone who wants to get away from home. Not a bad jaunt to Bloomington or Nashville Indiana with many things to keep one occupied. I give this 5 stars, Mary and Bridget together are wonderful to work with when making your reservations. I recommend calling them to make a first time reservation, or if you have specific needs.”

We were a little unnerved and first being our first time and would have been nice to have a quick lesson. However once we got in all was fine. We had an awesome time!! Thanks so much... we will be back! The worker picked us up in time and was very informative as to where to eat dinner in town. We were experts by the time we were done and the wife has found a new hobby! Now to get some used kayaks!!”
