  I've loved going to the Dunes ever since I was little. Great beach, as well as excellent hiking trails as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Whether it's one person or a family, there is always something fun to do at the Dunes!

  Awesome place to come and just unwind and clear the mind. This is by far my favorite place to come run or walk. I can come here all alone and all my worries go away. Also it's a great place to bring the family. The rangers are always doing things too like Park Ranger guided tours and various hikes all year. 5 stars all day.

  Probably one of the more scenic parts of Indiana. Good options for hiking. You can either climb the dunes, walk along the beach, or hike through the woods. The park was clean and direction were easy to follow.

  So it's a little embarrassing, but the only Great Lake I've ever seen my whole life has been Lake Erie. Until today when I finally was able to see Lake Michigan in all her glory today. And all o can say is wow. Lake Michigan is literally gorgeous in comparison to Lake Erie. The Dunes were so incredibly gorgeous too! Overall the park was very clean, the water was amazing, and the dunes were so much fun to climb and run as fast as we could down straight in the lake. My husband and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary while we were there just having a fun filled day at the lake and it really was just an amazing place to be for a day. It's a great place for families, friends, or couples!

  Lovely sand beach on the lake shore. The sand was so soft and the kids loved playing in it. The lake waters were so clear blue and beautiful to soak in on a hot day. The waves were so gentle that one can swim in it and relax in the waters whole day. The park had nice changing rooms with showers and bathrooms were so clean. Looks like a very well maintained park that one need not travel so far to Florida for the beaches. Seems to be safe for the kids without any rip tides or currents in the waves. Will definitely visit it again. One can see the faint skyline of Chicago from this spot.
