“We recently built our retirement ranch and decided to treat ourselves to some new furniture as well. We searched stores as far away as Chicago for a desk and dining room furniture. Desks were too large for our space, or of the assemble-it-yourself variety. Off-the-floor dining room furniture was either uncomfortable, the wrong size, the wrong wood or the wrong chair fabric. "Custom" dining room furniture was very expensive with limited wood and fabric choices. Then we found Circles in the Wind. Steve's suppliers will build EXACTLY what you want in about 6 weeks, and at a very competitive price. We found a desk that was the size we needed, and customized the top and privacy panel to make wire management easier. We selected the wood and drawer pulls from a generous selection of samples. We found a chair we liked, had it finished to match the desk, and selected a really sharp leather for the upholstery. I absolutely love it. (Now my wife complains that I only come out of the den to eat!!) For the dining room, we found a table we liked and Steve had the leaves custom cut to seat 6, 8 or 10 people. We found chairs with a similar leg design from another supplier. We couldn't find a buffet cabinet that we loved in any of Steve's catalogs, so I sketched one and he found a supplier to build it. The entire set was constructed from the same type of wood and finished at the same time, so the color match is perfect. We had a near endless selection of chair fabrics to choose from, and the end result is stunning. Everything is solid wood (no veneer) and built to last.
