  I enjoy the size of the facility because I like space when working out and don't want to have to wait on a machine

  Not the biggest gym, but the staff is incredible. Everybody is always busy and out of any planet fitness I've gone to they are by far the friendliest. They go out of their way to greet you whether you're a regular or not. I've been a member for awhile and I've gone to quite a few gyms, but none of the employees are as kind as shelbyvilles. And they arent overcrowded for the fairly small size.

  This is a very small Planet Fitness location. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but if you're used to the average size of most of them, this will strike you right away. At the same time the place was very uncrowded during my midday two hour training session. So maybe it's simply "right sized" for the area.
  
  Overall the place was very clean and appeared well maintained. Staff was very friendly. Decent amount of machines. As another reviewer noted, there aren't very many mirrors in here. In fact, none at all in front of any of the Smith machines. You'll simply have to rely on a buddy to make sure your form is right, or concentrate and stay focused doing your best.
