  Spicer Lake Nature Preserve was an awesome place to go to and explore! Very clean bathroom right next to the parking lot. Nice boardwalk through the wetland area which was very nice. Decent amount of hiking trails that are very well kept. Multiple look out points which were also extremely nice. Great place to visit if you are looking for a nice day in nature!

  Absolutely beautiful. The boardwalk winds through a boggy wetland area which is home to a large variety of birds and other wildlife. Because there were a lot of dead or not leafy branches many birds were much easier to see than in other types of habitat. I think we spent about 2 hours birding just on the boardwalk.

  This is a nice quiet area to walk around but be aware that it's a wetland area so wear appropriate shoes if you plan to walk the woods. Some areas were very slushy on the day I was there. The boardwalk is beautiful.

  One of my favorite places in the area for a short hike/dog walk. Multiple trails of different lengths and elevations. Very peaceful and rarely crowded.
