(June 10, 2023, 1:10 am)We recently rented a pontoon for a couple days during our stay at lake James. While reading the reviews I noticed that some thought what I thought AT FIRST about the owner. What is easily mistaken for someone being rude is just a man focussed on the many things he needs to get done. I too thought the same thing. But he took very good care of us. And we will rent from him again! The boat was beautiful & the store has all your needs.
Worth the money!!!!
(May 15, 2023, 5:03 pm)Great experience her renting a boat for a half day the beginning of the season. Boat was in great shape and the motor ran without a hitch. Would highly recommend Kirk's place if you need his services!
(August 16, 2022, 9:41 am)Kirk is awesome. Flat out. We rented a pontoon for a week, along with two double kayaks. He was very responsive via email and with phone calls. When we were unable to fit the double kayaks in our truck bed, he delivered them the same day. Finally, when we decided we were in need of some vest life jackets, he dropped them off with our kayaks so we didn't have to make a run to get them. Having rented boats from several marinas over the years, I can say he does an excellent job with communication, his boats are in very good condition, and he is more than willing to help you out with anything you need. Definitely use The Corner Landing.
