  We have been renting from Hawthorne properties since 2013 and were here through management change. The property manger and her whole staff are very friendly and are great at what they do. They are very respectful and will do everything they can to make sure you're happy and they'll even work with you. The apartments and villas are spacious and beautiful. We have enjoyed our stay with Hawthorne properties. I highly recommend living in this community.

  Best apartment complex ever. They provide such a clean, safe, and beautiful community to live in and are always ready to tend to your needs. Would recommend this apartment complex to any and everyone.

  I loved Hawthorne properties, especially the duplexes. Staff worked with me to move in early and have had no problems with maintenance or any repairs. Staff is friendly and always willing to help when they can. Would recommend the community to anyone wanting a quiet, clean and friendly neighborhood.

  I have lived here for 2 years and I absolutely love it! I worried about feeling safe, living alone in a new town, but there are no worries - I know I made the best decision possible. I feel so safe and secure! The location is also perfect, just outside of town and 5 minute drive from shopping, groceries, hospital, etc. Anytime I have needed anything, the management office gets it taken care of right away. (And seem so happy to take care of me.) The staff is absolutely so friendly and very helpful. And they really care about getting everything done ASAP. The maintenance and grounds people make it look so great around us and are so conscientious about what our property looks like! This year has been terrible with snow/ice and they even shovel all the sidewalks and driveways before I leave for work. They get right on anything you need done! I could not be happier and have had no trouble or any complaints at all! I heard recently that Hawthorne has won the award for Lafayette's Best Apartment Community the last two years... this is no surprise to me - they will always have my vote.
