  Stayed July 2018 -The owners were extremely nice and went out of their way to make it feel very homey and family friendly. The pool looked clean, nice & refreshing but unfortunately we didn't get to use it. We stayed here for a weekend trip to Indiana Beach. The beds were small but comfortable, I slept great. The air conditioning worked good, kicked off when cool enough and then would kick back on when the temperature went up. It was a window unit and was not loud at all. Great price for a quick family getaway, we would definitely stay here again!

  Felt welcomed by staff at front desk upon check in. Had a nice clean room. A little outdated but worth the price. Would definitely stay again.

  Judging by other reviews, I'm guessing management took complaints to heart.
  We wanted a cheap place to stay, and we got it. It's not fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and the temperature maintained well for our 3 night stay, both when we needed heat and when AC was needed. The room had a coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and hair dryer as added amenities.
  
  The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. We had been told there was a mini fridge in the room but there wasn't- I guess the room had recently been refreshed and it got removed- and they immediately brought us one.
  
  We'll definitely stay here any time we're in Monticello, and recommend it to anyone who goes there too.
