“My best friends grandma is currently at Rensselaer Care Center, I am extremely impressed with the excellent care she is given. I try to go there once a week with my best friend, she was very hesitant and nervous to put her grandma in there and now she feels so blessed to have her there. Initially we thought she was going to be able to take her home and now her grandma and her want her to stay because it exceeded their expectations. She loves her roommate and the staff there. They have a lot of different activities and she really enjoys to go participate in them. Prior to coming to the nursing home, she was setting at home throughout the day because she wasn't able to drive and now she has all of this socialization with the ladies she sits with in the dining room, the therapy gym, and activities. They have their own beauty shop and she loves that she is able to go there once a week and get her hair done. They also have a lady that comes in on Wednesdays and does the ladies nails, she shows them off to me when I see her. The nurses have been a blessing and make her feel comfortable and do a great job communicating with my friend. We are very pleased she is there and with the care she receives.”
