“5 stars all around. The education, location, student body and the extra curricular activities are all amazing and can honestly say that the years spent in Bloomington where truly one of my favorites... If you do decide to attend, you WILL NOT be let down.”

“I’m honestly not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. I went to Ivy Tech as a student for two semesters and also worked there through the spring and summer semester. I loved it there. During my time there, there were a couple of professors who needed to get themselves together, but overall my professors were knowledgeable and kind and really wanted their students to succeed. The tuition rates are great, especially compared to IU, but there isn’t the “college experience” that you get at IU. Many, if not most, students have a full or part time job (being wage/salary jobs or even personal jobs like being a parent or taking care of their own parents), so it’s hard to meet up with folks outside of class. They have almost all of their textbooks in the library, so I didn’t have to pay for any books my spring semester other than online access codes. Many of the courses are guaranteed to transfer to any institution in Indiana (as long as you get a good grade), which is nice. I’m going to the U of Minnesota now and all of my credits transferred. My main complaint is that Ivy Tech has decided statewide that they’re moving to primarily only half-semester classes. One of my favorite things about Ivy Tech is that they’re great for folks who have outside responsibilities, but this move to half-semester (8 week) classes just isn’t working. I haven’t heard a single student say they like them. We like having the OPTION but not that being the ONLY option. Lots of students and faculty and staff have been speaking out so hopefully they’ll change it soon. Overall, I loved Ivy Tech Bloomington, and I’ll always look back to my time there fondly :)”

“We had a great time visiting Harrison College in Columbus, IN! This is a small campus, newer facility, near the airport. Very professional in appearance, staff and we were pleased to meet the students. This was our first college presentation and we were very pleased to be there. It was an excellent experience!”

“I remember coming here the first time I came to Anderson. It was right before my sister finishing finals and my family and I had arrived to move her out. I was searching for schools to go to and was uncertain of where exactly I should go. The admissions were so friendly and welcoming to me, they provided plenty of information. They even gave me a tour of the campus! I did not make my decision then, but it did leave an impression on me and I went the following fall.”

“I have really enjoyed my first year at Anderson University. I definitely had my share of positive and negative experiences. I've utilized the schools counseling services. They have been really helpful and supportive through some strange and trying times. My experiences at Anderson University have helped me find personal strengths I did not know I possessed and a voice that I had never used before. Lastly a few words to caution to anyone who may be interested in coming too Anderson. You should know that you can (and may) experience intolerance and bigotry on campus while attending school. So I would definitely advise caution when making friends and socializing on campus. The school does care about the welfare of its students, and allows for forums. In which a variety of topics can be discussed, though truth be told, these could use improvement/ revitalization.”

“I took Intro to Bible here and I found that the class was great for analyzing the Bible academically. I especially enjoyed reading about the historical time periods that were taking place while books of the bible were being composed. I Got to work with some great students, and I enjoyed the professors I met there. You can learn about conservative interpretations of the bible and liberal interpretations. As a student, you learn that both have their strengths and weaknesses. The School of Theology is also located near the library and Miller Chapel, which can offer a peaceful retreat from daily college woes.”
