“This McClure station is absolutely fantastic 😍🤩 huge shout out to all it's employees! I'm going through tough times and travel 10 miles a day to and from work by bicycle. I get a little tired and a little cold so I ll occasionally stop here to grab a coffee or a quick bite. But what really draws me to this particular station is it's employees. Not just one but the ENTIRE staff. From am to pm they all are extremely courteous, helpful and kind. Just today, one specific employee must have thought I looked hungry (little did he know, I'm a cook and literally eat all day) and offered me some of his delivery pizza. I'm pretty sure gas station attendant jobs don't pay much so I was absolutely floored by his kindness and generosity. That is just an example of the kind of environment this particular station exhibits. It's these small acts of kindness that keeps me positive and brings me a little happiness. Thanks to all of you for never judging and always allowing me a warm quiet place to sit and sip my coffee.”

We typically do not drink wine but after we planned a tour and picnic for our anniversary, we will be forever Oliver winers🤣 The tour was really neat and we loved every wine we tried, so smooth. Large variety of sweet wines as well. The grounds are fantastic and beautifully landscaped. Great place to spend a peaceful day enjoying one another.”

“Very cool small town bar. Stopped in to check it out because I heard they have gizzards. Unfortunately, they were out but offered chicken hearts as a substitute. Although, I like chicken hearts I doubted I could eat a basket of them and passed. Instead, I had chicken wings, fries, onion petals, broccoli and bacon cheese bites, and breaded mushrooms. It was some of the best bar food I've had in a long time. I also enjoyed some cold Miller Lites to wash it all down. Nothing fancy about the atmosphere, but I think that's one of the things that makes the place. Service was outstanding! I didn't catch the lady's name but she was hustling and taking care of everyone. I'm certain this isn't the last time I'll be there. Check it out! UPDATE: I made a return trip to try the gizzards. They're a no for me. I prefer mine crisp with a crunch or snap when I bite into them. These were more like they were pre-cooked to tenderize them and then battered and deep fried. They're like they have at 9 Mile Restaurant, which obviously I didn't like either.”

“My son flipped his car on I80/I90 this morning while on a cross country trip. Luckily, he was not hurt, and the car was driveable after it was rolled back up, but the drivers door mirror was smashed off. This happened around 9AM CST. From 500 miles away, I contacted B&S since they were closest to where he wrecked. They checked their yard, found a mirror that fit, and installed it. I had the option to pay over the phone, but my son took care of it himself since the price was so fair and affordable. They were honest, excellent, professional, fast, and really, just reassuring and wonderful. They had that mirror installed in a half hour and the complete job was so much less than I expected. An interstate rollover ended up being remedied to the point that he is back on the road after only a few hours, B&S being only about less than a half hour of that delay. They were great. I am thankful that I called them first. Ella handled the entire exchange. I would recommend this place to anyone. I don't often find people like this.”

“Very clean and organized store with a lot to see. Multiple rooms full of antiques and curiosities. I noted a lot of mantle clocks from various eras and styles and numerous pieces of statuary art. Some pieces are a little pricey. There are also a couple of displays from more contemporary artisans. Definitely worth a stop in if you are travelling.”

“A wonderful swampy Indiana forest In its natural state. Don’t expect a sanitized nature trail, It will be mucky in spots and on a sultry summer afternoon in the middle of July you will meet plenty of friendly bugs. If you go on the immediate west loop trail around the swamp, bring your sense of balance. There are areas traversed via single file railroad ties and logs(see pics) Overall, I enjoyed it, A very nice nature preserve.”
