(February 5, 2019, 6:42 am)I see dr. seamands and have for years. i return again and again because of the comfort they provide here. i have severe anxiety but when i walk in here its like im coming home. they know me by name and greet me gently and nicely.
the wait times to see docs are ridiculous though sometimes being an hour late for appointments but when you are seen they treat you like youre the only one that exists.
Dr. seamands is extremely knowledgable on drugs and interactions/side effects/etc. He has no issues with taking suggestions for your care if youve done your own research as long as he feels it would genuinely be good for you.
ive also seen lisa for therapy here. she is incredible sweet, soft, NON-JUDGEMENTAL, and really listens and even helps to figure out whats in your brain to slowly correct it.
Psychiatry is not a fast battle, but with the right team (and this team is it) you can push through. -
