I had a wonderful experience with Katherine! I found her late in my pregnancy, but it’s never too late! She was there for me during active labor and when I had my epidural. The positions she put me in got the baby into the right position.
She really took care of me and anticipated my needs! I was really impressed by the postpartum care she provided me. I didn’t know how much I needed the care she gave me. I’ll be forever thankful ❤️

I absolutely LOVE Katherine. She was so helpful, and even though I found her really late in my pregnancy (36 wks), she did everything in her power to make sure my husband and I were comfortable from the start! She has AMAZING prices, PLUS a military discount which is awesome! I was really nervous about having a 100% natural birth and Katherine helped me through all of it. Also, Spinning Babies saved my life during labor, and I couldn't have done it without her. 5 out of 5 for her professionalism and knowledge about giving birth. I highly recommend Katherine for all of your Doula services and I will 10000% use her again if we decide to have another baby!

I stumbled upon Katherine by chance, and I am so glad I did. I knew nothing about doulas or what they do. All I knew is I needed someone to be my support through labor and delivery. I have anxiety and depression and I was in a very dark place through my entire pregnancy. Katherine stepped in and encouraged me through it all. She was there whenever I needed her, and coached me through one of the hardest things I’ve ever done-birth. She knew exactly what I needed when I needed it, and is extremely knowledgeable about the entire process. I would highly recommend her services to anyone and everyone.

My experience with Katherine Ward as my doula was better then I ever expected. At first my mother was not quite comfortable with me wanting a doula as she was afraid Katherine would take her place as my support person. Katherine was easily able to take the situation and explain to my mom her role in my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum.
Katherine was also able to calm any fears I had about giving birth and taking care of a newborn. She helped me prepare my body to give birth which helped me feel like I had more control over what was about to happen. Going into giving birth I wasn’t scare at all and Katherine played a huge roll in that. Without Katherine’s guidance I would have definitely been more stressed and scared initially going into labor. Instead I was able to just be excited about holding my baby in my arms for the first time.
I experienced prodromal labor for a little over a week before I had my baby and during that time Katherine helped me cope with the contractions, stretch my body in order to open up my pelvis and she provided a lot of emotional support and encouragement. I started to get discouraged and she helped me focus on the end goal of having a baby.
When my labor really started Katherine was there the whole time. She made me get up and move even when all I wanted to do was lay there, she knew moving is better and got me to get up. She was very good about asking if I needed anything, and asking the nurses to get me things such as a birth ball.
I had a very long 45 hour labor and Katherine was with me every step of the way, I don’t even think she left the room to have a proper meal during that entire time. Even though I ended up having to have many medical interventions that I didn’t want Katherine helped me see that it was not the end of the world to have help. She also helped me realize that with out them my baby and I would be the ones suffering.
Katherine Ward is amazing and I’m so glad she was able to share this life changing experience with me. I would not change anything about my birth experience and when I have more kids you can bet my first call (besides my family of course) will be to Katherine.
