(August 2, 2022, 10:04 am)Really interesting museum with lots to see. It's more than just an oil museum. The museum has displays of early settler life in Butler Co., Kansas. The physical displays of oil exploration devices are incredible. On the day we visited, docents were firing up an oil drilling rig.
When I have thoughts of oil (if ever I do)
I think of Texas. This area of Kansas was a major player in oil exploration and production. To a non-native Kansan it was a real education. -

(May 6, 2018, 7:23 am)Wonderful museum. My daughter keeps asking when we can go back. Loved it. It has something for everyone. The fact feel to the history buff. And the inner child in us all.
