  Dr. Rowland is fantastic. She is very personable, knowledgeable, approachable ,down to earth and most of all very compassionate. She treated our dog like he was the king of the world.
  She always gave us several options, guided us but always let us make the final decision. Our dog was anxious going to the vet but always eased up when he saw her walk through the door. We would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a great vet in Lawrence.

  I'm never made to feel like an ignorant pet owner. All of my questions are answered fully, and the staff is very willing to offer any kind of advice i may need. No need to look elsewhere. Your pet will be greatly taken care of here.

  I travel a lot and wants my dog and cat to be well taken care of. This office is the best, always plenty of staff there and always very friendly, animal lovers themselves. They have my pets shampooed when I pick them up and they smell so nice. I have them get my pets shots up to date when I'm gone. I especially like that the kennell is right there with the vet hospital all together. Beautifully, new building, very clean and I have total peace of mind when I'm far away on vacation, that my pets will be loved and walked & well taken care of. Used them 3-4 times now and using again in July 2019.

  Dr. Amend is the most caring veterinarian I have ever met. She has such a big heart and so much compassion. Her gentle nature puts pets and their owners at ease. Thank you for being the absolute best!!!!!

  They were very understanding when I brought in my newly adopted cat. They were patient with all my questions, as I have never had a cat before, only large dogs. They let me know what types of vaccines she needed and how often.
  
  Very accommodating. On my first visit, the vet was in the middle of a emergency surgery. I said I didn't mind waiting as it would probably be only an hour, but the vet was at a spot where she could stop and see me and my cat right away.
  
  I was a bit surprised that they had a separate examination area in the back which I couldn't go into with my cat, but after doing some research I found that a lot of vets do that for easy stocking and sanitizing. For the most part shots and general check-up still take place in the examination room that you are in.
  
  The vet was also very good about making sure my cat had proper info on her ID tags.
