“We visited the Circle S Ranch this last week for a reception following a cousin's funeral. It prides itself on being rustic and offering a glimpse of what it was like in the prairie back when the buffalo roamed the plains. We did not visit the bed and breakfast side of the ranch but the building in which the reception was held fit its description. I don't really have an opinion about the food because I am vegetarian and this meal was not. I do know that this establishment has been very good to our cousins through a four-year illness and would recommend them for that reason alone. I did not meet the owner but know she is a kind soul.”

“A group of 20 Seniors enjoyed an excellent afternoon on the Vineyard. The proprietors are so welcoming and accommodating. A variety of appetizers before the Shrimp Boil was served with several sides and sweet fluffy cornbread and butter. Maxine makes each menu item from scratch that's full of flavor. Three choices of pie before Don began the wine tastings. Wines range from dry to sweet dessert. This is the third time the group has enjoyed the Jefferson Hill Vinyard Don and Maxine Bryant, Owners”
