For what this (Woodland, CA) store lacks in its size and lack of inventory it makes up for in customer service. Although turnover can be a bit heavy, I am always greeted by a cashier with a friendly “welcome in,” and assisted at the fabric counter promptly by a very knowledgeable staff member. I cannot remember a time going in and having a bad experience or encountering a closed-off employee. Kudos to the hiring manager and the team for maintaining such positive attitudes and good vibes through a major global health and human crisis, a coin “shortage,” major supply chain breaks and barriers, record high-inflation and astronomically increased fuel and energy costs. In a world where everything seems to want to bring me down, the Joann team in Woodland is a rock of positivity in support of making new things and recreating the old. This place has been integral in maintaining my good mental health. Thank you.

This branch is nice! The first few times I went in around Halloween there was a young lady who knew how to help me with all the coupons I received online from my phone and she was extremely patient with me! She was super nice every time and told me about the stock that was still coming in so I didn't miss anything for Halloween. Now i know how to pull everything up whenever i go in and get my 20% off deals prior to walking in the door. I wish i rememberer her name but whoever she was she rocked. BUT The last few times I went back a new girl was there, and she has zero interest in helping anyone even just checking them out at the register.
Hopefully I see the original employee again soon!

I loved this experience and will be back regularly. The providers are very knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. Not to mention, my face looks great! I’m excited to go back soon💜

The staff is extremely helpful. I stopped by to purchase some foam. Not knowing what I was looking for. The sales staff not only help me selecting what I needed. But, they found some scraps in the recycle bin and showed me how to cut foam. I appreciate the kindness. The store is clean, well-organized and quiet.
