Exceptional personal services with a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They seem to take care of each customer’s animal as if it were their own. I highly recommend Dr. Wilcox and her staff for your animal(s).

Came here for our puppy appointment with Luna, 10 week old Cane Corso, and had an incredible first visit! Coleen gave us a very warm welcome and got us all settled in the exam room. We didn’t wait too long before Roxanne came in with tasty treats in hand, which Luna loved of course, and went over a few questions to get some background info on Luna. Dr. McClain was recommended to us by a friend and she was fantastic. Both Dr. McClain and Roxanne got down on the floor with Luna and did the exam all while playing with her and handing out treats. Dr. McClain was very informative and it was nice not feeling like we were being rushed out…which is how we felt at our previous vet. Dr. McClain took the time to answer all our questions and provided some very sound advice for the health and socialization of Luna. We could tell Luna was very comfortable the entire time which really made us at ease and extremely happy we ended up coming to AHC! By far the best vet experience we’ve ever had!!

Anyone that knows me knows that I would do practically anything for my fur-babies. After my long-time vet decided to leave her practice, I was left with the decision as to whether my girls would see the new vet that was occupying the existing location or look for a new health care provider for them. After doing some research and even some drive-bys with the girls to various vet locations, I happened upon the Animal Health Center of Leawood. The facility is brand new, bright, clean, welcoming and state of the art. The staff is warm, engaging, and immediately gave the girls plenty of attention. I met Dr. Wilcox, who is absolutely fantastic and I decided on the spot that she would be our new vet.

When I bring the girls for office visits, the staff immediately gets the floor of the examining room to engage with patients, the dogs immediately interact, are at ease and playful. I now know the staff does this based on the "fear-free" methodology that their practice is certified on. Dr. Wilcox has been great with advice and counseling in regards to my girls' medical needs. The personal follow-ups after procedures and her willingness to jump on the phone with me or quickly respond to email to address questions and concerns is comforting and in my opinion, 5-Star customer service. If you are looking for a new vet or maybe you are not 100% satisfied with the current care your fur-babies are receiving, I would HIGHLY recommend the Animal Health Center of Leawood, Dr. Wilcox and her entire staff.

The best vet and people! They care so much for what they do. My dog loves it, and he has always been terrified of vets. Highly recommend!!

My french bulldog has been feeling under the weather for the last few days. With the Thanksgiving holiday, my typical vet was scheduling a week out. Dr. Wilcox and her team were able to see my dog the same day I called. From working with Shelby over the phone, to the techs to the doctor, it was a great experience from start to finish. They've earned a customer for sure. I recommend Dr. Wilcox and her team! Thanks for doing such a great job.
