(January 16, 2019, 12:24 am)Nice little park, has a small lake and a few benches scattered intermittently. No crazy hills really but there are decent number of stairs halfway through the main walking path.

(October 28, 2018, 3:40 pm)Beautiful park with lovely vistas from the walking paths. Dogs are allowed on the paths if they are on a leash. There were lots of well-maintained picnic areas and toilets, as well as comfortable benches along the paths. The reservoir has many decorative features, including a fountain and seating.

(October 7, 2018, 5:36 pm)I love all the different trails here! The dam is awesome and has cool little areas near it to have a picnic or set up a hammock. The wetlands are fun to walk through and I love the trail that feels like you're walking through a forest =)

(September 23, 2018, 2:31 am)So far one of the nicest parks I've ever been to. 3 nice play areas for the kiddies, one with a huge sand area. Lots of paths to walk, there is a lake with a boat launch. When I can check out the whole park I may update with 5 stars.

(September 18, 2018, 10:13 am)This park is one of our family’s favorite places to get outside during the summer. Several playgrounds are spread amongst trees, walking trails, nature exploration areas, a beautifully maintained water play area, and a huge picnic shelter for community events. Bathrooms are also well-placed to prevent tragedy for small bladders which is deeply appreciated by everyone who has ever been involved in potty training. Even though the park has a lot of play areas spread out, it doesn’t seem chaotic or difficult to keep track of children as sight lines tend to be pretty good. When children are older we will consider using the boat ramp and access to Lake Lenexa for more watery fun.
