Jake is the man. As someone who has had multiple shoulder surgeries, Jake has helped me regain all of my strength and mobility and feeling better than ever! Every time I leave Adapt, I feel good and ready to attack my next workout. I seriously recommend Adapt for anyone who wants to overcome an injury.

I enrolled in Adapt Physical Therapy & Player Development this past summer and it surpassed all my expectations. I became a better player in every aspect of my game. My body was able to move properly and finally allowed my body to throw correctly. Jake always was willing to adjust your program to how you felt every day as well as managed your work load so that you weren’t working yourself into the ground. Really wish I would have started this as a Freshman in high school. I will be back in his office whenever I can get the chance!

I first met Jake during the summer of 2019 when I first arrived at Driveline in Kent, Washington. I had previously struggled with staying healthy during my first full season of converting to a pitcher only. I headed to driveline in hope to rejuvenate my baseball career that seemed to be getting near the end, due to a shoulder/scapula injury that would not get better after months of physical therapy at Kaiser and seeing multiple doctors/trainers. I began working with Jake twice a week, each session I began to gain more and more knowledge about the body and how it works. Jake made things very easy to understand with visuals and prescibed a couple different physical therapy exercises each week that were easy to add in to my daily routine. After the 2 months that I was training at Driveline, I left injury free and my arm and body had felt the best it had in my life. I give credit to the program and training driveline provided but I give most of the credit to Jake for working with me every week and making sure I was able to perform at the highest possible level. After I left Driveline, I then turned to Jake to help me continue my development throughout the year. Jake provided knowledge on throwing and lifting training throughout the course of the year and helped me stay healthy throughout the season for the first time in my life. To this day, it is nice to know I have somebody to work with and guide me throughout any troubles I may be having. Although Jake has been an excellent trainer and physical therapist, he’s been a better friend and I look forward to training with him in the future!

I signed up for a training program at Adapt over this past summer and it substantially exceeded my expectations. Overall, I'd say one of the most valued aspects of Adapt is the investment and care they show you. Your development and health is first on the list of priorities, and they'll show you they are 100% invested in both. They will do everything possible, including staying after hours, providing an extremely flexible schedule, and even consult other top notch trainers in order to help you reach your goals. Additionally, Adapt offers the highest quality combination of player development and physical therapy in the area, if not the region. Many player development programs do not offer the physical therapy side of training. This ensured that I remained healthy while training at an intense level. The knowledge the staff--mainly owner of Adapt, Jake McFarland--is second to none, as their background allows them to include methods that incorporating the most renowned throwing research in the nation. Pitch Design sessions with the usage of the Rapsodo analytical machine provides feedback for you to make necessary adjustments in achieving maximum potential of any pitch you throw. The different phases of the throwing program focused and improved each of the following within my pitch ability: spin, command, and velocity. All the while, I received top notch physical therapy to keep not only my arm, but my full body healthy. Not to mention, they do all this with a considerably low price compared to what other player development programs are charging, and the other places don't even offer the physical therapy side. I'm not exaggerating when I say Adapt was the most worthwhile investment I've ever made.

Trained here doing Pitch Design in the summer between seasons. Experience was superior to anything else in the area. Metric based development is the future and these guys are on the leasing front. Staff was extremely nice and flexible with my work schedule. In a few months of training here I not only saw measurable improvement in my Pitching but got a better understanding of my pitch metrics and how my body works.
