My mother transitioned from independent living to Evergreen Community approximately a year ago. My mother struggled at first with several of the changes in her new lifestyle. I was impressed with the care teams dedication with assisting my mother while adjusting to her new home. After a few months my mother is doing well and has made many new friends and she loves the food. I visit her 1-2 weekly and pay close attention to the care they provide. The staff truly cares about the elderly and it shows by their actions. Special thanks to the community leaders, nurses and loving staff for your dedication caring for the elderly adults.

We needed to transition mom to medicaid and we were frustrated by the quality of care in many medicaid facilities. Enter Evergreen Community! The halls and build of the building are more like a standard nursing home, but that is where that comparison ends. The halls and rooms are clean and decorated nicely and the courtyard is second to none! herb gardens, flower beds, a gazebo and fish pond are just a wonder to walk through and nice to visit with a loved one in. best of all, nearly every time that I go visit mom, there is someone right there with her. She was in a wheelchair for a year before coming here but the caring staff walk her regularly to make sure she gets her exercise and doesn't fall. The wheelchair is now in her closet. When mom's Alzheimers causes behavioral issues, they don't just medicate her. They put her on a plan of relaxing music and a long walk and a change of bedtime. We couldn't be happier.
