SERC Physical Therapy

Sorry this review is so late, I couldn't get the QR code to work on my phone. I was referred to SERC Physical Therapy in Overland Park after I broke my hand in an embarrassing French Bulldog-chasing related incident. As unfortunate as my accident was, I was equally, if not more fortunate to get to work alongside Jason as he helped me on my journey to recovery.

I got my own personalized splint specially crafted for my hand that was comfortable to wear while simultaneously being both durable and strong enough to keep it protected while my hand healed. Each week we'd have strengthening sessions where he'd show me how to perform different exercises to increase flexibility and strength. Best part was right at the start of each session where I got to use a real nifty hot sand hand massage machine thing to warm up for my exercises. It's legit magic, I swear. Instantly decreased pain and increased flexibility in my hand.

All that aside, Jason was just a super cool guy to work with and was more than happy to answer all of my many questions I would eventually ask him regarding everything physical therapy. Seriously, too kind. He even looks like Mark Ruffalo, but he says that's just because of the mask. But don't take my word for it, go see for yourself, get yourself an autograph.

I found Serc to be an excellent organization, easy to work with, professional, efficient, well organized, and above all effective. My therapist was knowledgeable, patient, kind and explained everything so it was easily understood. By the end of my therapy I feel my injury is almost completely back to normal. I am comfortable with what I need to do to continue strengthening and increasing flexibility. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone needing physical therapy, particularly hand therapy. SERC did a great job ensuring that I was at the appropriate location for my particular needs. Appointment times were always set with my schedule in mind and they were flexible if this needed to be changed. Jason was friendly and great to work with. He listened to my concerns and made sure that I had the best treatment for my particular injury. I always felt I was in the best care. Thank you!

After breaking my wrist, I was referred to SERC after I was told by my doctor that it would be “functional “. Jason’s patience and professionalism exceeded my expectations. My wrist may never be what it was but it’s a great deal better than I’d ever hoped. Thank you!
