Many hands and happy hearts of young and old volunteers from United Methodist Church of the Resurrection packed "bed bags" tonight for one of our partner schools: a soft cuddly blanket, a book for the child's age in reading, a pair of warm socks, and a dental hygiene kit made up of toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss. The children will be gifted these items in a reusable bag by volunteers who will explain their need for sleep in order to pay attention and learn from their teachers, how to care for their teeth properly, and they will know someone really cares about their health and helping them become better students.
