Franklin Park

This has been renovated in the past few years and is even more wonderful than ever!

This is our favorite park in all of NE JoCo! There is a fun water stream for kids to play in surrounded by a beautiful nature scape to play on. Baseball diamond, wide open field for frisbee, 2 full size playgrounds surrounded by tall trees, swings, walking/biking trail, sand pit, and picnic tables. So much space for kids to run and play, but not so big that they might get lost.
The gem of Prairie Village!

Excellent shade. Plenty of community toys to play with. Creek was so refreshing to play with but beware of hornets. Great accessibility for younger toddlers. You might want to bring a change of clothes.

Franklin Park in Prairie Village has a great walking trail for seniors. The trail winds around and through the park so you can take either a short walk or a long one. There are benches along the trail so you can take a break if you want to and just enjoy the scenery.

Great park. Nice shade and park benches. Nice place for kid soccer.

Amazing shaded suburban park better for littles than Meadow Brook park. Small water feature running through the park for kids to play in without getting soaked. Good facilities and nice shelter for gatherings.
