  I have been to many places in the world, one of the hardest things for an African American with hair like mines is finding a barber who knows how to PROPERLY cut your hair and not botch or set you back. That day, I was new to Kansas and knew I was going to have a problem finding the right barber, I visited three barber shops with this one being the third that day, I was vetting these barber shops trying to find the right one, you can look at a barber, the demographics of the people he/she are cutting and the pace of the shop to know if they have what "you" need.
  
  For me personally who have been messed up numerous times trying to give benefits of a doubt, I was highly skeptical of the first two shops I looked at and ended up at this shop where I saw a full house mostly with people with my hair and haircuts I saw that actually looked crisped and sharp. The barbers there looked like they knew the business and weren't just pushing clients out like some of the other barber shops I've seen from time to time. High quality cuts from places like this, your going to easily wait a good while if you don't have an appointment, but barber shops like this ALWAYS make that wait worth it when you come out that shop killing the game, just look the pictures of my hair cut.

  Best haircut I've ever had. The people who are complaining about the wait time either don't call ahead or dont understand that these guys aren't like great clips pumping out mediocre haircuts on the daily. They take their time and treat it like an art. On top of all that the staff is super nice and the prices are good. I'd recommend this barber shop to anyone looking for people who are doing what they love and doing it well.

  Alot people who gave this place bad reviews don't know about black barber shops. You come in wait however how long until the barber is ready. Or you make an appointment which still takes the barber a few minutes to seat you. The barbers don't know how long each haircut takes. So people will be waiting up to an hour. I made an appointment and ended up waiting 30 or 40 mins, because family memebers sneak in haircuts inbetween schedule appointments. This barbershop is probably best in the area. They do not force your head to move. They don't rush you. They do a good job. You really have to explain what haircut you want in great detail. I usually get skin fades and I prefer skin on the sides and a one on the top. Although sometimes the barber leaves too much hair on the top. I'm not fan of hair and love to have the hair on my head at the lowest slightly above bald. Haircuts aren't cheap. Haircuts less than ten dollars are probably no good like great clips or the barbershop on post. If you want a good haircut you pay the price which is 13-15 dollars. Ever since I live in leavenworth for tens I jump from four barber shops until I went to this one.

  Awesome people. Great service.. They take their time to do a great job. Have always taken my kids to great clips etc... Never really satisfied, always have to fix or cut missed hair afterwards. My kids and I have found our new hair place here. I would highly recommend them.. Thanks Nate
