We save a lot of money shopping here and buying fuel at their fueling station since we can use points earned by shopping there. The staff are friendly and helpful. “This is a great liquor store. It has a lot of variety & quality beverages. On that basis, I would recommend it. However, on 21 Nov at around 1752, I purchased a bottle of excellent wine & a single serve margarita bottle. The cashier, a large man wearing a Harley t-shirt, denied my military discount when shown Military ID because, he said, "It's only for active duty." That is NOT what the sign on the building says. It is also NOT a rule that another cashier followed as I was given my military discount for my purchase that day. My conclusion is that either the sign on the building should reflect that discounts are only given to *Active Duty* service members or that particular cashier needs further training in dealing with his military & veteran customers. I intend to continue patronizing your business. I will, in the future, try not to engage with that particular cashier. Whether it was lack of training or some personal animus on his part that was the reason for refusing a discount to a military member(something that his employer promises with signage on the building) his behavior almost ruined a very good day. If he happens to be the only cashier on duty when I attempt to make a purchase, you won't have my business that day, and if I do attempt at some point in the future to make a purchase from him & he again refuses to give me my Military Discount, you will lose my business for good.”

“Best customer service ever!! I went to the Lansing drop off, they were closed. So, I tried the Leavenworth location. I had initiated a wrong label, that they couldn’t scan. The young lady had me pull up my return on my phone and she took the time to cancel the return and start over to get the correct label. Then she printed it for me. How awesome is that?!! Definitely using the Leavenworth location from now on!”

“I manage a phone repair business and we periodically deliver a few dozen cookies from this place around town to different cell providers. We just got a call back from one of the AT&T stores we hit yesterday specifically to ask where we got the cookies from because they loved them so much! “The team at Young Sign Company consistently goes above and beyond expectations when it comes to signs, banners, electronic advertising and downtown investment. Recently we completed the Banner of Honor project featuring Veteran Banners downtown and they turned out amazing. We also completed a Street Pole Banner project with 60+ banners and again, awesome, on time and reasonably priced. When you visit downtown, the most creative signs are products of Ann Hoins' creativity and the staffs production and installation. We are proud that Young Sign Company is located in historic downtown Leavenworth and is an asset to the entire metro KC area.”

“We recently moved to the Leavenworth area and have visited this store nearly every week since. In reading previous reviews and comparing to our own experience i think it may now be run by new management. The service in this store is impeccable, they greet you with a friendly hello every time, without fail, upon entrance. The dining area is spotless. The sub making line is organized and very proficient which helps when it gets busy. The sub-makers (employees) take genuine care with your sub and don't slop and slap the ingredients in like i've experienced at other competing restaurants. I've also noticed the franchisee/owner? (can't be sure) is always there helping, appreciating and encouraging his staff - it's been very noticeable in the short times we've been at the counter. Not only is it a great place to dine in but i have no doubt it to be a fantastic place to work, too. Simply, eat here, support this business, this place is awesome - so much so that i had to write this review!”
