  It was so quiet and peaceful, there weren't many spots for shade, and the water was low . it still fun to go fishing for the day with family and have some peace of mind. They had tons of put houses all over and the park was very clean no trash or lines all over place. I'll be going back!

  Went out for a Father's Day weekend evening of fishing. Getting to out spot was a nice little hike and was totally worth it. The fishing itself left a bit to be desired, but that was likely due to the fishermen. The shoreline was clear of trash and debris for the most part, something I can't say about the piers at the lake.

  It's a very peaceful and relaxing experience if you're there when it's not filled up with some of the riff-raff that it tends to attract during busier times. I'm not trying to sound snobbish but if you're planning on going here with children you may have to bring ear muffs. A lot of the conversations that travel across the lake from people drinking and carrying on just a little too much for what a small area like this can handle.
