“My dad was born in Paola in 1937 and went to Beaver Creek School with his 9 siblings when it was a one room school house. Many many years later, we came to Kansas on a vacation and went and saw the old school. It was a treasure box that still contained all the things from when it was an active school. It was boarded up, but we got a look inside, and it had old desks, music sheets, even report cards for my dad and others. It appears someone has bought the property and I wondered if anyone knows what may have happened to those things that were inside?? Would love to find out for my dad.”
