NovaCare Rehabilitation

I finished PT at NovaCare Derby a couple of weeks ago and am still feeling the benefits from my visits there. I would encourage anyone in need of physical therapy to consider checking them out. The therapists and staff are just the best. And...the facility is warm and welcoming. The therapists helped with every aspect of my healing. They were encouraging, knowledgeable, and very professional! I would choose them again without question if I need PT in the future. I'm very grateful for the care I received at NovaCare Derby.

Anne Clark is a GAME CHANGER. Two kids left my pelvic floor in need of a reboot. She helped me go from feeling “broken” to feeling STRONG. So thankful for her knowledge, skills, and bedside manner. From check-in, to doing work on the floor, the whole team was so nice and professional. A refreshing patient experience!

My physical therapist was Danielle. She was very nice and patient with me. She has a great personality and doesn't get impatient when she had to tell me the same thing over and over. You use a variety of equipment. When Danielle had to be gone I also had the other two ladies. They were very nice as well. They all work you hard and you see results. Danielle could always tell if I was getting tired or frustrated and she would say, " okay let's take a minute and have some water". This is the second time I have gone thru therapy at NovaCare and both times it was very successful. I would highly recommend them.

I recently started my second rehab experience with NovaCare following my second full knee replacement. I would not want to go anywhere else for therapy! My first therapy journey with them started 11 weeks ago following my first full knee replacement. I attended another facility in Derby initially, and had an awful experience on day one, so I switched to NovaCare. When I walked in the door of NovaCare the first time I felt instantly relieved by the spacious environment, and it didn’t take long to learn that every therapist there is knowledgeable, professional, personable, and encouraging. When I started therapy for my second knee last week Anne came out to my home when I couldn’t get in the car. This was so helpful for starting a new routine again. Adam continues to educate, motivate, and encourage me through this knee, just as he did the first one. I try to keep a good attitude, but when I’m filled with doubt or frustration he literally resets my attitude. Kayla’s encouragement and instruction (“heel-toe”) from my first knee was already resonating through my head before I left the hospital with knee #2. Dani and Alex have taught me new things that have helped me as well. Every day I have therapy at NovaCare I leave feeling better. They remind me to stay patient and keep working on my goals; I progress more physically, and I’m motivated to keep on! Melissa even calls to remind me of my appointment times. NovaCare is awesome! If you are looking for a professional and positive therapy experience this is the place!

Great place friendly people.I had Daniell she is great very helpful and knows her therapy. Melissa at the front desk is so sweet and everyone is also kind and helpful. They also go out of there way to call u the day before your appointment and remind u!
