I was hit from the back. The repairs appear to be done in a great fashion. I am extremely impressed with the cleaning detailing inside and out over the entire vehicle
My truck was parked in my driveway and was t boned. It received some severe damage. The first estimate was $8K but second came back around $14,800. I wasn’t to worried as that is typical to find more damage when they start to remove parts and inspect the damage. They found, the frame was damaged and required a frame replacement.
The company was sending me text notifications and quick to answer their phones and respond to updates. Knowing that the suspension was being replaced and would have to be Removed and Installed on new frame I asked if I could pay the difference and order a lift kit for my truck and have them install it instead of the OEM suspension. The technician that I spoke to replies with “we don’t have the tools here for that and would have to send it off to a local 4x4 shop”.
So this shop has the tools to change a stock suspension but not instal a 3.5 inch lift on a 1500? They can do a frame swap, may have to replace my rear axle, already changing out suspension components, replacing rim, the list goes on, but something most weekend mechanics do in their garage with basic socket sets they can’t do? If you are going to lie to me Austin, maybe give a guy a legit lie. Perhaps “it goes against our policy to install aftermarket parts” or “sir, the insurance claim will not allow us to install anything other than OEM”.
While my service has not been completed at this time and I am willing to change my rating in 20-30 days when my truck is finished, this really up set me. Don’t bold face lie to your customers like that! The review above even asked type of service and suspension/steering is one of many options. I understand that you are a body shop and not a 4x4 off-road specialist. But if you tell me you “don’t have the tools” for that, now I wonder how you will fix anything else on my vehicle that requires a socket set and wrench combo. Really hope you don’t need a screwdriver too.
Update: I reached back out after the owner posted a reply. Was put in contact with their store manager. Service has been back on track since and outstanding. Been receiving updates very often on status changes. After talking to the manager I definitely feel like my truck is in good hands. While I have not got my truck back yet, since it still needs a lot of work, I am pleased with the service I have been getting. Minus the one encounter I had that the store cleared up and handled swiftly I would recommend to others. Looking forward to seeing my truck again.
Heath and Jeremy are awesome! Was a little nervous leaving my car at a place I’ve never been, but won’t hesitate if anything else ever needs fixed. Kept me informed throughout the entire repair and were very friendly. Great place if you need a car repaired!
Good service. Communication was not as good as I had hoped. When I scheduled my appointment, they never told me that my parts wouldn't be in until 3 days later, so the repair took longer than was first quoted to me. Otherwise the experience was good.
This place did a outstanding job on my car repair. The customer service was awesome. (Heath) is a great guy who will meet all your expectations. If your looking for a great repair on your vehicle and want to be in good hands go to collision works and talk to Heath. I would recommend this place to anyone. Very impressed with the experience here. Not to mention Heath was very helpful when I didn't know about the deposit fee for my rental while my car was being repaired and he gave me the deposit like it was no big deal. Great person.
