Heritage Inn - Wichita

  The rate is a modestly priced $50 per night. Although not the swankiest place in town, it's by far one of the better motels to stay at on Broadway in South Wichita. It's somewhat quiet and fairly clean. Right across the parking lot headed south is the Heritage restaurant, as well as, a Dillon's less than half a block away, a liquor store, and many other restaurants within walking distance.

  Although this isn't a 5 star hotel they have clean, decent rooms. The housekeepers actually come around to every room as scheduled. And the owner/operators are really sweet & nice people. I'm not sure of their names but I found myself without a place to stay, and I did have a job, but I came and spoke to them about my situation and they allowed me to stay in a nice big room and said I could pay the weekly rate when I got paid-which was 2 weeks away- they did not have to do that for me but they did outta the goodness of their hearts. I'm glad they did because i literally had NO other options. A big BIG HEARTFELT THANK YOU to these beautiful people. ?
