  This review is many, many years overdue but I want to make sure I write it now. I have had problems with my right knee since an injury when I was about 13. I had had 2 surgeries on it before I came to see Dr. Vani and it was a mess. Dr. Vani and I went through all kinds of problems getting the knee to work correctly and then to just get it to hold on as long as possible before I needed a replacement because way too much damage had been done. My last surgery with him was in 2010 or 2011 because I moved out of state. In 2013 I had to have a partial replacement, I was 35. It would have been much earlier if it wasn't for Dr. Vani. My ortho in South Dakota said one of the last surgeries he tried was a "heroic measure" to try to save it as best as he could. That tells you right there what kind of doctor he is. Unfortunately I will be coming back to see him because my left knee is now doing badly but I don't want any other ortho touching it as long as Dr. Vani is willing and able. He is a wonderful surgeon....and he even remembered me when I went to see him when I moved back to town after 7 or 8 years. You don't find that often. I always tell people to go to him and I will as long as he's in practice.

  dr vani worked on me after having 2 compartment syndromes in my arm. hes the best in the bussiness...hes a beast.

  Dr. Vani performed a two finger tip amputation on my hand after a work accident. Very nice doctor. Highly recommend.

  First of all, I'm so glad finding Doctor John N. Vani's google profile by just a simple search of his name on google. I'm here to first of all show my long long long overdue appreciation and thanks to Doctor John Vani for the great care he has done for me fifteen years ago back in year 2002 by doing anterior cruciate ligament surgery on my right knee in northwest hospital in Amarillo, Texas. I remember how nicely and honestly he explained to me that how the surgery procedure would be and what precautions I need to consider to take in my future in order to not to have my ligament damaged again. Back then Doctor Vani was a young and soft spoken gentleman as I remember it like it was yesterday to me. I also remember very well in order to make me to feel more confident about post surgery and recovery, he mentioned that he had done the same type of ligament surgery on his own sister who had injured her ligament doing sports a year or so before and by hearing him saying it I knew with all my heart that he is treating me as same as a family member of his own. By the way, I was 26 years old back then and am 41 years old now, and I've regained almost complete function of my right leg long time ago that a lot of times I even forget that I've had ligament surgery on my knee. Any ways, once again I'm so glad that Doctor Vani was my surgeon and I wish him and his family the best of health and happiness in their lives. Warm regards and many thanks to Doctor John N Vani.   I broke my wrist and Dr Vani applied a cast telling me that he would X-ray it through the cast in one week. After that week he xrayed it and said I do not need surgery! Many doctors would elect to do surgery but Dr Vani said no surgery required. This tells me that he is not financially oriented but that he really cares!! Thank you Dr Vani!!
