“I worked in Hiawatha Kansas back in the late nineties and I just happen to be driving around and I seen this Cemetery and I was looking at all the unusual statues around this couple's plot and a tour guide came up with a group of people and gave the story about a poor man that got rich long story short most expensive burial site in the world it was in Ripley's Believe It or Not very fascinating story. When he was young and poor he married a rich young lady and her family had nothing to do with them anyways he became a very wealthy man and when he was getting up in age the hospital came to him and wanted him to donate money to add on a wing and he was still mad because earlier in his life he got a locust thorn in his thumb and instead of trying to heel it they just looped it off so we thought of a way to spend all his money he ordered the most expensive marble that came from Italy to make statues of him in his life from the early years throughout their life an early years he had his thumb and Midway through the statues of them together you'll see his thumb is missing in the last one it's just him by itself probably the most interesting thing in that little town besides they said people come from everywhere to see the maple trees change color in the fall and that's it so much for a short story”
