I have two small children and was worried about bringing them but as soon as we sat down everyone around me was so nice and offered to help me with them if they got fussy, offered crayons and coloring books so they would be content so I could hear the word of God. “I joined Grace Community Church of Kansas City in June 2018. After attending and being a part of this church and family for six months, I can honestly say that God is worshiped here. There is a clear and intentional desire that everyone knows Jesus personally. The people here are very welcoming and loving and The Bible is clearly and faithfully preached by both pastors (English and Spanish pastor). It has been a joy to be a part of this family with so many different backgrounds, cultures and stories and to be surrounded by people who simply and truly love Christ. The church can be a little difficult to locate since it is in The Avenue of Life building on 7th Street. But it's not hard to get inside once you get here.”

“I may be a bit biased my brother Ryan just became the pastor there this past Sunday. However no one can walk in there and then back out without a smile on your face.as you walk up to the doors you will notice the trees (as right now the leaves are falling) but they are so pretty. And calming, as you walk through the doors you are greeted with a smile a hand shake and the warmest aroma of coffee. I got from the door to the coffee and I must have shaken 5 hands and talked to by those people. They are warm, genuine and friendly. Let's not forget the bagels. On top of all this the host or hostess who gives you coffee and gives you time to snack. Asks you if you need directions. I did.. The Sunday school classes are rich with people that will love you and Love God and a good take home truth. The services when those people sing their faces are bright and smiling as if the windows of heaven are shining on them, then comes hand shaking time, where everyone wants to get to know you and shake your hand. Then when the Pastor Ryan gets up to preach. He knows the Bible so well and studies himself to be approved and unashamed to Preach the Gospel. He Boldly speaks and the wisdom and the knowledge and the factual truths that he preaches have an uncanny way deleviring the Truth for your life. When he reveals the application for your life you'll be hard pressed to leave not knowing what he preached about. When he speaks its as If God we're talking to me himself. Which is what a lot of pastors strive for but few are able to obtain. Now I am biased because yes he is my brother. But if you dont believe me go check the church out. Make your own deciscion about it. Then email the pastor and let him know what you liked and what you didn't. Or better yet go and talk to him personally or call him.”

I typically plan my stay out far in advance but this time, it was really late and I needed a cheap place to stay. I read the reviews on this property and they all agreed that it was a good value for the money and super clean. I love to write reviews on stays that exceeded my expectations. This property was immaculate - cleaner than the $250 a night Westin that I stayed in the previous night. It was a nice soft bed and if I were staying longer, it had a big TV and fridge and microwave which is more than I would hope for! Thanks to the owners of this fine property for doing such a fantastic job on the remodel and making the standards of cleanliness over the top! I would definitely stay here the next time I'm in Tulsa”
