“My mother began living in a Galway Home in December 2010, at the age of 91. She was a resident until her recent passing, at the age of 96. That, to me, is a strong indication that the care she received was second to none. She was treated with dignity and respect, and was always clean and dressed in fresh clothing. She was very well fed, as the meals are well prepared by the care-givers. The atmosphere is one of love, humor, and comfort. The perfect mix for the memory impaired, whether in a beginning or advanced stage. The families are welcome at any time-no restricted visiting-and are made to feel very much at home.
