“While I would truly love to focus on the strengths of the select few staff members here that carry themselves in a professional and ethical manner, it would be disingenuous to you, the prospective client, to leave out the unfortunate reality that it is overwhelmingly the clients that are left to run 80-90% of the responsibilities of operating their own treatment program here. A holistic, dynamic recovery from substance abuse demands the rigorous participation of the individual for whom the program is designed to help recover. Unfortunately at Mirror Shawnee, this concept appears to have been skewed in such a way where the individual client is now responsible for the nutritional, sanitary and other fundamental needs of their peers, while the majority of the program "leaders" visibly struggle to affect their influence in a meaningful way. The moment one enters the circus event that is Mirror Shawnee, as a client, a concerned family member, or as a new or long time staff member- there air is thick with confusion and distress and the mutual distrust and competition among all parties involved is palpable at every turn. I'm leaving a 5 star review in the hope that they will this posted perhaps a little longer than if I gave an honest rating (1 star). Mirror deletes the tsunami of negative reviews that are posted on here. Just look at number of reviews (7) and then see that there is only one 5 star review that's actually visible. Prior to the most recent purge of these reviews, there was atleast ten 1 star reviews and they have swept them all under the rug. If you have insurance and/or you're not court ordered into treatment, do yourself and your family a favor and go to Valley Hope or literally any other treatment facility. This place is the last stop on the treatment circuit before incarceration. To the staff- I just ask that maybe, just maybe you read this, and all of the other reviews and try to look at these statements not as attacks on your character by some drug addled delinquents; but as opportunities for real growth that can be earned as a community, and eventually shared amongst the broader community that we all call home. Until then, I'll keep checking back and keep leaving more encouraging reviews! I have so much more I could say and I know how fond you all are of thoughtfully receiving feedback and criticism and using it constructively! Much love 😀”

“I absolutely love Derby Eye Care. Everyone is wonderfully friendly and seem to make it a habit of going out of their way to ensure the best possible care. Recently, a nerf gun war led to a dart in my husband's eye. The pupil went oval and, as it always happens, this was on a Sunday. I was able to call Dr. Banister that day and get advice on what to do. Not only did he help me avoid an urgent care bill, but also gave me an extensive list of what to look out for and what to buy to help him heal. What blew my mind was the text I received later that night, asking how he was. This is how this office operates. Genuine care for their patients. Dr B is amazing, the staff is amazing, and I will always recommend them.”

“I came in complaining of shoulder pain that was limiting my range of motion and preventing me from being able to do basic daily tasks. Even something as simple as closing a car door caused unbearably sharp pain. They took X-rays and found that I had multiple spinal curvatures and the left side of my body was lower than my right. This was putting lots of pressure on very sensitive nerve endings, hence the pain! After just ONE visit, I was 80% pain free and had regained about 30% of my mobility. I've now had three visits and I'd say I'm 99% pain free and have regained 80% of my mobility! Dr. Hurst even worked to correct my TMJ which I've been battling for YEARS. The staff has been incredible and worked hard to help me feel better quickly. The technology Dr. Hurst uses is top of the line but the magic is in Dr. Hurst's experience and knowledge. I could not be happier! My only complaint is that I didn't go in sooner!”

“My daughters and I all absolutely love the staff here. Everyone is great with the kids and theyve always got right down to taking care of whatever we’re being seen for. I mentioned a painful foot due to an old injury and was quickly seen and the doctor was able to get me into a physical therapist. With how great that went, I decided to finally mention my lifelong stomach issues and was tested same day for food allergies and referred to a gastroenterologist. Thanks to Dr Rausch, im finally starting to feel like a normal human being again. I cant recommend him enough.”

“Absolutely love this dentist. I began coming here because I was told I had a tongue tie by my previous dentist (who I had a bad experience with and left). I was referred here by a friend due to their work on her infant’s tongue tie. I had that procedure back in August and Carrie did an amazing job with the body work and prep leading up to the release. Then she had great follow up after. I healed beautifully and have noticeable improvements in all kinds of ways (I mumble less, have no more sensitivity in my gums, I don’t have tension in my neck and shoulders like I did, etc). Truly incredible. I’d recommend it to anyone. I have now had 2 cleanings done here since then and they’ve been so kind and gentle with my previous trauma at my last dentist. So I really appreciate that. ALSO they offer holistic and full body solutions to your dental needs which align with my lifestyle of wanting to keep things Natural. “The ladies at Living life Ranch are amazing. My daughter struggles with anxiety and depression. She went to a one day workshop before school started for teens. I was Really looking forward to her going. Her not so much. When she came home she was so excited. She loved it. She really connected to the horses. I could see the light back in her eyes and I saw Hope. Being a mom with a child with mental health problems sometimes we feel like we have done all we know how to do. It was amazing to see her smile, to see her excited again and I could See a weight had been lifted from her. I have done 2 sessions myself one was private and one of as a group session. They were both amazing. In my first session I didn't Know what to expect. It was during Covid and I was struggling. The day I went In I felt like I had My struggles and fears under control. The Lord really opened my eyes that day. I could feel the letting go of my fears. I could Feel what the Lord was tell me and I could Feel his peace. It was amazing. My group session I went to I went With my daughter. I was going for her and I felt good. Didn’t think I was Really struggling with anything i was solely there for support for my daughter until I started Working with the horses and Janie started asking us questions. The Lord spoke to me that day. I actually heard his voice and it was amazing. Sometimes we struggle internally and we feel like we have it handled. But the Lord knows and with the help of the horses and the ladies coaching I could Hear what the Lord was saying to me that day. I highly Recommend Living Life Ranch rather you have had a life changing event, struggle with mental health or are just need direction in your life. I started At the ranch because of my daughter but I found So much more for myself.”
