“Shawnee Gardens is a wonderful place to work. We have great caring staff in all of our departments who go above and beyond for our guest and seniors. We have an excellent Therapy team, an excellent Activities department who have our seniors engaged in daily activities and outings, wonderful staff in our dietary department and so much more. I have been a staff member for many years, My mother lived here at Shawnee Gardens for many years and was very well loved and taken care of. My daughter works here and has recently moved her way up to further her career. I love Shawnee Gardens and I could not ask for a better place to work.”

“I have had a bunch of health problems that basically led to no saliva in my mouth which led to A LOT of cavities...I think around 12? I went in a couple days ago to get eight of the last ones filled and he did an AMAZING job. The gal who numbed me did it right on the first try which I always feel kind of nervous about since the last office never could numb me all the way, (or if they did, I could still feel the pain and the dentist literally told me to just get through it because it “wasn’t that deep..” ) Let me just say that I have been to a not-so-great dentist’s office and Dr.Ty and his whole staff are like a breath of fresh air after that experience. Nothing but kindness, professionalism, and my bite feels surprisingly normal after eight fillings, and if my bite felt somewhat off, he gets you in very fast to fix it. If you are looking for a kid-friendly, professional office with great doctors, this is a gem on the east side of town! Hats off to this office for their excellence in caring for patients! We are so glad we found you!”

“Today was my first visit to Houlik Family Dentistry and l was in tears five minutes after my appointment. Not that anything went badly, but quite the opposite. The staff was so kind and professional, the office was absolutely immaculate and Dr Houlik took the time to sit next to me, (explaining everything) while looking straight into my eyes. “I was extremely nervous to have my wisdom teeth and two other teeth extracted. However, Dr Harris was extremely kind and answered all of my questions. He was also supportive of my request to avoid prescription pain pills, as I know how dangerous they can be, and suggested alternatives. Post surgery, I alternated between tylenol and ibuprofen as well as ice and heat therapy. The worst of my pain was maybe a 7, and the swelling of my cheeks was the most painful part. I did not experience any unexpected symptoms and genuinely felt very little pain. As of today, it has been 4 weeks since my surgery and everything has healed beautifully, and I am back to normal. Thank you so much Dr Harris and everyone else at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates for doing such a wonderful job. I am so grateful to have had a good experience with this surgery.”
