“This Dollar General is kept clean and stocked well. I was able to find everything I needed, with ease. The cashier was quick to the register to assist us with check out, unlike the Elwood Kansas Dollar General where I have waited a good 5 minutes for someone to come to the register.”

“Best location I have been to! There are actually employees that can help you find items. Other locations only have 1 employee on the register. Very clean. Stocked shelves!”

“The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They always offer to carry out your groceries. The place is kept pretty clean. They have a pretty good variety of food for the size of the store. The prices are higher than the big supermarkets, but not enough to make a trip to Topeka or Lawrence worth it.”

“On Friday, October 5, 2018 the Douglas County Extension sponsored an educational tour of the the Reuter Organ Factory. There were 17 men and women on the tour. Our guide was Tom Watkin. Tom was an excellent guide! He has worked at Reuter Organ Factory for over 30 years. He has a degree in organ therefore was very knowledgeable about the inner and outer workings of the organ. His enthusiasm about his work was evident. Not once did anyone feel bored. Little did we know that Friday was a great day to visit the factory, because most of the craftsmen like to take a long weekend. That meant we were able to move though the factory and hear our guide without he sound of noisy machinery. We saw a few craftsmen working during our tour, but we did not interrupt them as they were working. Tom ended our tour by playing an old theatre/movie organ that had been restored by the crew during their sparetime. What a treat is was to hear that old organ come to life again! The Reuter Organ Factory Tour is definitely a must see experience. It is truly a unique attraction, one that everyone will find educational and fun!”

“Well this will be a great spot to us on the weekends now. I just had an afternoon date with my hubby and Addy and we all approved. Can't wait to see this business grow. Normally we avoid the students and therefore campus. But I hear weekends and breaks are great for the locals yo enjoy.”
