“The teachers at Remington Elementary are wonderful people. One of my kids is a handful with his Autism, but they work through it and provide him with a superior education than found in other schools. Some teachers may be easier to work with than others, but they all care and work to find ways to teach every kid. As a kid, I never thought much about the quality of education I received in USD 206. However, as I went to college and had no trouble keeping good grades and my classmate from other hometowns struggled, it made me consider how lucky I was to have had the kind of education Remington schools provided to me. My wife isn't a simple minded person, but she struggled in college. Wichita schools had not prepared her for post high school life and educations. To this day, I consider the majority of my teachers as friends and will have contact with them every so often. They not only remember me, but have interest in where my life has gone after leaving their care. My wife doesn't remember many of her teachers and none of the teachers in Wichita schools cared to remember her. Food for thought! I am very grateful to all of the wonderful people who have helped me to be who I am today! I am now a parent of two kids in USD 206, I chose to come home and give my kids the same quality education I received!”

“Rooms with kitchenettes are pretty decent for extended stays. Not sure if Covid is playing a role, but bed linens are only scheduled to be changed once a week. They'll skip that service if you're in the room at service time and you'll wait another week to get linens. Trash and towels are refreshed every 2 days, but toiletry refresh had to be requested. Very pleasant and helpful staff and one of the better morning breakfast offerings I have encountered at a Marriott. The breakfast host/dude is awesome! Slightly better room refresh service would earn that 5th star from me.”
