“Trail ran through mile 27 and 28 between Slough Creek Park and the boat ramp. Faint trail that goes through grassy meadows and woods. Hope to come back soon to backpack the whole 30 mile or so trail before it gets too overgrown. This trail is best done between the months of September and April to avoid all of the foliage.”

“Clean camp ground and the bathrooms/showers are well maintained and clean. This is my favorite campground on my favorite Kansas lake. However, I do wish there were more trees in the camp ground, though. Too open and series too close together. And they were out of trail maps, and the trail heads are not well marked or trails well maintained. At least not yet. Perhaps later in the season?”
