Family Dollar

This is for the 7502 Dixie Highway Store. I was in the store shopping while waiting for my pizza order to be ready next door. I waited in line to check out and the gentlman in front of me did not have enough for his order. He ask the cashier to remove an item from his order so he would have enough to pay. The cashier tried to get the managers attention to help remove item from computer but had no luck. With a line behind him you could see him start to get nervous. I have been that person in line before and not had enough money to cover it. Its a horrible feeling. Thats when the cashier jumped to his rescue. She pulled out her own money and paid the difference of his bill. It was just a few dollars but in times like this its nice to see that there are still awesome people in the world. Im sure Family Dollar doesnt pay the employees very much but the fact that she took her own money that im sure she got from working there and helped out a customer in need was very nice. You could see the stress leave his face when she helped him out. I did tell her that what she did was very nice. Maybe Family Dollar will never know or care about the small gesture of help that she provided but i at least can say Thank You. I did take the time to look at her name and think that everyone one should know that Pam is awesome. If you see her at this location let her know that she is appreciated. Thank you Pam

Always a great place to shop quickly.

I gotta admit, this is definitely my go to place for all my needs and wants for my home, family, self and entertainment (and not just because its literally located within a couple minutes of my home ?) Seriously though, this store has gone through so much and yet the Employees (the ones from before the walkout included as well as the current) are amazing people who will go above and beyond with service, friendliness and a wonderful shopping experience. I also love how clean the store always is as well as organized. I must admit, sometimes we (the employees and I) lose track of time just catching up or sharing stories with each other to the point that I always leave either laughing or with a smile on my face! ♡

I frequently ( daily ) shop at the Dixie Hwy. store, and my experience has always been pleasant. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I always tease them and tell them, " If you sold lottery tickets, I'd never shop anywhere else. Special thanks to; Linda, Ricky, Devon, and the other employees who's name I don't know. Love this store!
