  Employees were very understanding and helpful and kind.
  They wouldnt take any cats , though ,as I saw a man get turned away with 4 kittens, but they offered a list of alternative agencies.
  Covid19 measures were being followed.

  They give a discount to Senior Citizens. We couldn't go inside. But we had no problems with them. I would adopt again from them.

  I adopted a dog 9 years ago from Campbell County Animal Shelter. He was 1 year old when I got him from this shelter. I was undecided at the time because we had another dog and I didn’t want to upset her. But Bugsy (his name when met him) choose me after a couple of visits while deciding and I immediately fell in love with him. The animal shelter couldn’t have been nicer and patient with me. So my family adopted him and changed his name to Charlie, because he looked like a Charlie. He died a week ago suddenly and I’m heartbroken along with the rest of my family. He was the best little dog and friend ever and I’ll love him the rest of my life. In fact on all of our long walks and places he went with us everyone loved Charlie, I want to thank whoever abandoned him 9 years ago because I got the privilege of having Charlie in my life.

  I got a dog from a person and she was chipped long story short she likes to run and got away from me Campbell county picked her up and I had not gotten her chip switch over but I went there and showed pictures of her with me and my children over the past 2 years and they gave her back to me and also showed me how to switch her chip over shuggy is one happy dog and we are even happier to have her?

  I’ve been volunteering for a little over a month and super impressed with the staff, the cleanliness, and how well the dogs are taken care of. I look forward to spending time with the sweet dogs every week. That being said, it is going to be stressful environment for an animal no matter what. I hope that all of the animals get adopted ASAP!!
