Steele's Run

I rated Steeler’s run a four overall. The staff definitely rated a five and are willing to go out of their way to accommodate guests. The room is a five for what it is. The house is old with old amenities, but that is part of the charm of the place. The pool was in okay shape and about what you would expect for the age of the b&b. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Another review noted they were only served cereal. Not sure if that was from when they first opened or what, but we had biscuits and gravy, as well as, eggs to order.

Bottom line if you are looking for a five star hotel this is not it. The place has a few quirks. There are farm cats running around that hang out on the porch. The pool wasn’t pristine. However, if I am in the area again I would purposely try to stay here again. My wife and I had a great time and met great people and the overall price was definitely fair. If your in the area and I would recommend giving it a shot.
