Giuseppe's Ristorante Italiano

I had a large party of 8 and one small baby. We had a lovely dinner...it was a Birthday celebration. This was everyone's first trip and experience there. The food was tasty and it was presented very timely. There were some issues: scant parking (I brought a Suburban, not to have 3 vehicles there) it crowds the lot and neighbors, I could not hear the "Live Music", & our waiter got a little "snappy" when someone asked to order appetizers ("Can I get this table first!?!?").

Giuseppe's has been a fixture in Lexington for a couple of decades and has earned its reputation as one of the better restaurants. The ambience is nice with white table cloths and flowers on each table. The food and service are both excellent. Try the calamari and the Pasta Florentine with either chicken or veal, both are very good. Reservations are recommended, parking can be a bit tight during busy times.
